Bijouterie
A wedding band I fashioned from a tetradrachm hand minted during the reign of Alexander the Great. (approx. 336BC)
One of my favorite hobbies is making rings from old silver coins.
I started with a step-drill bit and a rubber mallet. My first ring was terrible! Months of upgrading my tooling and processes led to a much more refined finished product; it also led me to create other unique rings. I’ve sold hundreds of silver coin rings and shipped all throughout the US. By far, this has been my favorite medium.
