Vintage Barber Quarter Ring
Vintage Barber Quarter Ring
The Barber coin series ran throughout the turn of the 20th century (1892-1916) and featured the face of Lady Liberty surrounded in a wreath of 13 stars. Every coin I use to make this ring is over 100 years old! I always prioritize coins based on their condition rather than their date, but I do specific dates for customers as well. Request your year in the special requests text box if you’d like a specific year for your ring. I make this ring by hand out of vintage American history in US sizes 5 - 9.
Change You Can Wear
Charles E. Barber designed a matching dime, quarter, and half dollar series approved by President Benjamin Harrison in 1891. This pocket change saw the turn of the 20th century, The Great War, and were the first coins to be stuck in the seats of the American automobile. We think of coins today as mostly worthless, but a Barber Quarter could be exchanged in 1915 for a pound of steak or movie tickets for two.
