Walking Liberty Half Dollar Ring
Walking Liberty Half Dollar Ring
Walking Liberty Half Dollars are, in my opinion, some of the prettiest half dollars the US Mint have struck. They contain 0.36 troy oz of silver and came about in 1915 when Mint Director Robert Woolley mistakenly believed he was required by law to replace the coin designs from the Barber series. Lady Liberty proved difficult to strike, so she was eventually replaced in 1948. These make a unique, historical piece reminding the wearer to always stride towards the sun. Easier said than done, right? This ring is available in standard US sizes 8-14.
Change You Can Wear
Walking Liberty Half Dollars were minted from 1916-1947 and were 90% silver. They feature Lady Liberty going for a stroll around sunset. This sun makes a fantastic feature along the band. If you would like a specific date for your ring, please leave a note for me in the special requests pop up after adding this item to your cart. Certain years are excluded due to the exclusivity of those coins (1916-1921).
